CCP is ebil and are hell-bent on dominating the world. I always knew Iceland was the real superpower, just never had the proof... till now!!!
Allot of people want to have a second ALT. All it means is that they get to train a character for 6 months at a discount - if paying with US funds - and then transfer it over to the old account.
It is useful to have a miner/manufacturer/RnD ALT, and if you can afford it, why not. Or for the carebear to train up a mission runner or PVPer.

What do other people think? Admission of guilt, or clever marketing?
It's neither.
The day you get ccp to admit anything relating to multiple accounting and metagamming issues to the community is the day ill keel over, they never talk about that, aside from the apathetic interviews you see posted on gamming news sites apealing to people that don't know what realy goes on, boasting how they consider it, but feel it detrimental to head down a path which would ultimatley lead to failer in a game such as eve with it's harsh knocks, stable ingame eccomony, and consequences of actions.
Marketing, doesn't have to be clever, lets face it, the people that ccp are appealing to with these offers are more than happy to bite their hand off for an easier ride in the game.
The only thing clever related to the offer is obviously an increased amount of subscription payments which they and the hardcore faithfull will use to constantly remind us that Eve Grows unlike any other mmo
EVE has problems, admittedly, however, after reading your recent posts, you seem to be doing nothing but EVE/CCP bashing. And you are not alone in this; people like you and the rest who do this incessant EVE bashing on forum just baffle me...
Many people have issues with EVE and the mechanics of the game, but instead of *****ing what they do is try to test things on SiSi, go to suggestion forums, try to get community to respond to issues and get people together and address the problems that are prevalent in this game - because they like the game, because they enjoy the game, because they want the longevity in the game.
So question to you would be... what the frak are you still doing playing this game? I mean, we all know that EVE has issues that needs to be resolved, hell we can probably write doctorates on the EVE issues and how they should be resolved, yet, most of us, still like the game despite the issues, and are hoping for the better.
You, however, seem to be just crabbing about anything - any reason for that? If you are so unhappy about this game, or if you feel that CCP has failed its community to such a point, then why play? Why not quit?
And, no I am not asking for your stuff, just want to understand people like you, thats all.
